24/7 VET CARE WHEN YOU NEED IT MOST

Had to take our dog Charlie to AREC and was very impressed with how the staff handled him. He’s super anxious at the vet, but this was probably our best visit of all time. AREC’s ‘low stress handling’ was a new concept to me, but it was clear straight away that those skills really helped Charlie to feel relaxed.

My very sick cat, Bruce, spent almost a week at AREC after a cardiac arrest and a full blockage UTI. From the minute you took Bruce into your clinic, I was so relieved that he was finally getting expert treatment. The whole time he was in your care, I was kept constantly informed - 24 hours a day - and able to respond accordingly.

Fur baby got bitten by a brown snake and after being given antivenom he required 24-hour monitoring. The vets were amazing with him and once he was settled we were allowed to sit with him for as long as we wanted.

Staff were friendly and efficient. Wait time for triage was not long. Thorough investigation was provided by the vet. Correct diagnosis and medication meant my cat is now back to his normal self. Would highly recommend these services.

The staff were absolutely amazing. They brought our boy back from the brink. I cannot recommend them enough.

I was really impressed with the level of care given to my ferret Beau when I came in late at night. It can be tricky finding an after hours vet who can comprehensively assess an exotic pet. We saw Dr Monika, and I left confident that Beau had been given a detailed emergency examination, was stabilised and we had a good action plan. The price was very reasonable for the care provided after hours.

Our physiotherapy session with Dr Lindy Price was really worthwhile. She was able to answer all my questions regarding Ursa’s challenges and gave us a great plan to move forward with.

Lulu the tan Cocker Spaniel and her slaves (us) would like to relay to you that the care and attention we received for Lulu's ear infection and allergic reactions was impeccable! The care, professionalism, support, attentiveness and gentleness for us all was outstanding! Lulu’s medical issues were treated and her after care was explained in depth with written notes and medication instructions to go home with.

I was petrified at 2am, as the nurse calmly listened through my tears and told me that things like this happen all the time and Ruby was in good hands. Comforted and mostly cried out, I sat and waited. Ruby got the best care and came home with me 20 minutes later. The AREC staff treat the humans as kindly and compassionately as they do the animals that need their care.

I am touched beyond words with how the AREC team treated our Darcy on his last day with us. Your thoughtfulness is a gift we will always treasure. Thank you to you all.

Thank you for taking care of our beautiful baby Ivy, she was in the best hands. We had frequent calls to give updates each day and even photos sent to us which helped us all feel relaxed knowing she was safe and well.

When we arrived the waiting room was full, the phones were ringing off the hook, injured birds were being brought in and every member of the staff were all still kind and calm.
