We know that, though working in the veterinary industry can be incredibly rewarding, it also comes with unique emotional challenges. The pressures of caring for sick and injured animals, the responsibility to clients and the physical demands of the job can take a toll on our mental wellbeing.
The team at the Animal Referral and Emergency Centre is excited to invite your clinic to take part in this certified training – a fantastic opportunity for local veterinary professionals to build practical skills, grow confidence and learn how to better support clients, colleagues – and us – when it comes to mental health.

The Animal Referral and Emergency Centre provides daytime specialist services and overnight and emergency or critical care for your pet.
AREC staff provide high quality care when illness or injury occurs, or if your pet needs continuing after hours care. AREC staff are trained in referral, specialty and emergency management to deal with any situation pet care demands.
