This immersive CPD event, presented by the Animal Referral and Emergency Centre in partnership with Dr Matt Annear & Dr Sarah Coall from VetVision, is designed to equip veterinary professionals with advanced knowledge and practical skills in Ophthalmology.
Delegates will be guided through two in-depth lectures that will enhance their ability to perform thorough eye exams and manage common ophthalmic emergencies effectively.
Lecture 1: "Seeing things clearly: the art of the eye exam"
Participants will learn about the essential techniques and knowledge required to perform a comprehensive eye exam. Eye health is often overlooked in routine veterinary care but provides such an important role in a pets well-being.

Lecture 2: "Vet Vision’s 3 most common Ophthalmic presentations"
This lecture will dissect the top three common presentations in Ophthalmology: corneal ulcerations, glaucoma and cataracts.
These all pose significant diagnostic and therapeutic challenges. This lecture will provide veterinary professionals with a comprehensive understanding of these conditions, including their pathophysiology, clinical signs, diagnostic methods, and current treatment options. We will emphasize practical, evidence-based approaches to diagnosing and managing these common yet complex ophthalmic conditions.
