At AREC, we pride ourselves on being an independent, local community-minded organisation.
Through various staff initiatives, we try to give back to those in need.

Vets for Climate Action is seeking financial support from the veterinary community over the next 12 months to ensure it can continue to operate.
$1 donated for every team member recognition
Jenny’s Place is a not-for-profit, community-based service providing direct relief and support to women and children who are experiencing domestic and family violence and/or homelessness (or are at risk of homelessness). They’re leading the way with early intervention and are an important service to our community.
Unfortunately, our team has seen pets left behind or put in the direct line of fire or at risk in stressful situations. For pet owners going through hard times, the ownership and complication of pets often takes their situations to an extra level of distress.
In March this year, coinciding with International Women’s Day, at AREC we made a meaningful donation to Jenny’s Place in lieu of IWD cupcakes or other internal initiatives. We also redirected our March team member recognition program donations to Jenny’s Place.
