Big things are happening at AREC – and we’re thrilled to share the latest on our new home on Lambton Road!
While many of you spotted the clues (our logo on the old Sizzler site has been hard to miss!), we were excited to officially announce in May that we’re moving into brand-new, purpose-built premises this Spring.
Now, the transformation is in full swing! During our latest walkthrough with the project team, we saw real progress – the walls are up and being painted, electrical work is nearly finished, and the platforms for our animal runs are already in place. Even our shiny new signage is in production!
Spaces are really starting to take shape, and it’s all coming to life. Our welcoming new reception area is beginning to feel like the calm and comforting hub we imagined. The designated dog and cat waiting zones are taking form – designed to reduce stress and create a soothing environment for pets and their people.
Behind the scenes, it’s just as exciting: new surgery and prep areas, a modern CT suite, plus ultrasound, X-ray rooms, and significantly expanded treatment zones – all designed to support our growing team and provide even better care for our patients.
We are buzzing with excitement to open our doors and welcome more specialist referrals and emergency cases very soon.
