Originally from Melbourne, Moraya graduated from Charles Sturt University Wagga Wagga in 2016 with First Class Honours with a research project in small animal dentistry but don’t ask her about it unless you want a lecture!

Originally starting off in small animal practice, her love of emergency medicine got the better of her and she decided to challenge herself with a role at AREC within 6 months of graduating. Having been with us for over 12 months now, Moraya loves the challenge of interesting cases and passionate in providing the best possible care for all patients.

In future Moraya hopes to complete her memberships in emergency and critical care, potentially follow up her research project with a PhD and become an academic.

Outside of work Moraya loves wine (drinking it mostly) and exploring wineries with her winemaker husband, travel, fitness, and spending time with her dogs Elvis and Daisy and her cat Phillip.
