From a young age it was clear to me what I wanted my career path to be. All through high school, I volunteered most weekends and school holidays at the local RSPCA.
After completing my vet nursing certificate , I started nursing at the RSPCA and from there went to work in a small animal practice where I stayed for almost 18yrs.
I decided to enter the challenging world of  emergency nursing when I was fortunate enough to gain employment at AREC almost 2yrs ago – and I haven’t looked back!
I am passionate about animal welfare and regularly rear and release wildlife. My family and I live on a beautiful property in the Hunter Valley and are very lucky to share it with a menagerie of gorgeous animals ( most of which are someone else’s rejects!).
