why behaviour matters

We know pets are more than physical bodies – their emotional and mental wellbeing is just as important. Just like in humans, chronic stress shortens life and affects health1. Behavioural issues can be symptoms of underlying stress, medical conditions or unmet needs2.

Rather than treating just the “problem behaviour”, our Behaviour Veterinarian aims to help your dog or cat feel better inside — reducing fear, anxiety and stress, so they can enjoy longer, calmer and more confident lives.

treating dogs and cats

meet dr natasha woods

Our Behaviour Veterinarian, Natasha, brings a unique combination of veterinary and behavioural expertise. With experience in busy behaviour referral practices in both the UK and Australia, Natasha has helped dogs and cats with a wide range of challenges — from aggression and noise fears to stress-related medical cases.

Natasha takes a holistic approach to behavioural care, looking beyond medication to factors like sleep, play and calming activities. By helping pet owners make small, practical adjustments to their pet’s home and routine, she supports lasting, meaningful change.

how we work

Our approach is structured, thorough and evidence based. We mirror the care we give medical conditions.

See our Fees page for consultation costs.

behaviour history and assessment (first consult)

Natasha will gather a detailed behavioural and medical history, observe your cat or dog, and dig into underlying causes. We don’t guess, we diagnose. Initial treatment changes are also made to increase safety and prevent escalation.

tailored treatment plan (second consult)

Based on the diagnosis, Natasha will create a plan combining environmental changes, behaviour modification strategies, and medical or pharmaceutical support when needed.

follow up and support

Behaviour change takes time. Natasha will provide ongoing support, adjustments and monitoring to ensure steady progress.
