I began my career in mixed practice in a small country practice in the Hunter Valley, this is where my love for emergency medicine began. I have a special interest in small animal medicine and will forever love my small ruminant medicine and surgery. One of my greatest goals throughout each individual case is to build client rapport and communicate effectively during a very emotionally charged situation in a way that each client will understand and feel supported that decisions were made as a team.
Outside of work I love going on outdoor adventures with my fiancée and kelpie side kick, Billy. You will also find me at the the gym, spending time with friends and family or drinking copious amounts of tea.
The Animal Referral and Emergency Centre provides daytime specialist services and overnight and emergency or critical care for your pet.
AREC staff provide high quality care when illness or injury occurs, or if your pet needs continuing after hours care. AREC staff are trained in referral, specialty and emergency management to deal with any situation pet care demands.
