After giving human nursing a go for 6 months decided to swap from humans and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse through TAFE NSW in 2011 at the age of 21. I moved to Newcastle in 2012 and worked at a busy practice before moving to Edinburgh, Scotland in June 2014.
I have worked multiple busy first opinion practices in Edinburgh, Scotland before giving referral nursing a go in a brand new referral hospital, learning a whole lot more. Neurology is a big interest of mine, particularly after being diagnosed with Epilepsy in 2019.
I set up a women’s American Football team in Edinburgh which kept me busy and allowed me to see parts of the UK along with rescuing a kitten with a tail pull injury in 2016 who now walks/jumps almost like a normal cat with half a tail.
