Rachel has wanted to work with animals for as long as she can remember. She began working in general practice in 2012 while studying veterinary nursing and graduated in 2014. After several years in general practice, she moved into emergency, where she has spent the past six years broadening her skills and experience. She has also completed further studies in reptile care.
Rachel shares her home with a menagerie of rescue animals, including dogs, cats and chickens. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her children, family and friends, and enjoys exploring Australia by road. One of her favourite places is Berry Springs in the Northern Territory, with Arnhem Land high on her list for a future adventure.
